The HPS5053's wide screen aspect ratio means your screen is filled with DVD and HDTV images which are increasingly available and presented in wide screen formats. On-board aspect ratio controls allow for handling analog 4:3 sources as well, in standard, wide screen. When it comes to reproducing natural images, Samsung TVs get the job done. Thanks to the new 13-bit processing capability of DNIe, the HPS5053 can produce over 549 billion colors. Compare that to many of the 10-bit processors on the market today that just produce one billion colors. From the faint sunlight of dawn to the extreme spotlights of a fashion show, Samsung Plasma TVs provide vivid, life-like images that rival reality. DNIe technology offers digital perfection in naturally presented, crystal-clear images that uncover even the most minute detail. Local Area Pick Up is the lowest cost option for the shipment of a TV. We ship the TV from one of our warehouse locations to one managed by our freight partner in an area near you. When it arrives, you are contacted via telephone to alert you to its arrival. You may then pick it up during their regular business hours and bring it home. Minnesota customers may pick up at our Edina facility with no shipping or handling charges.

Method 2:
Front Door Delivery option places your new TV just outside the main entrance of your home or, if preferable, at your garage door. Front Door Delivery is performed on a “by appointment” basis to ensure a convenient time for you to accept the shipment. Front Door delivery is ideal for light-weight sets such as LCD, DLP or Plasma TVs. Time in transit is typically 3-5 business days.

Method 3:
White Glove service is used for the delivery of high-end consumer products. The benefit of this service is that your merchandise is brought into your home, put into the room of your choice (within one floor up or down from the entrance), uncrated, plugged-in to ensure working order, and the packaging material is removed from your home. Should your residence be located in an extremely remote location, there may be an additional charge for delivery. Also note, White Glove delivery can require a couple extra business days vs. Front Door or Local Area Pick Up.
