The Cinema Series 56HMX96 HDTV combines a wealth of technology for a truly integrated experience. This DLP (Digital Light Processing) projection television is fully digital cable ready (DCR). You can receive digital cable stations without a cable box by contacting your cable provider, ordering a CableCARD, and then inserting the card into the CableCARD slot on your television. CableCARDs can be easily changed, allowing this television to be used with virtually any cable company. Also featured on the 56HMX96 is TV Guide On Screen. It combines programming from each of the television's internal tuners (ATSC, NTSC and QAM) into one, easy-to-read on-screen program guide. TV Guide On Screen makes it quick and easy for you to locate desired programs, and is a crucial feature for ease of use with digital cable. THINC RJ-45 network capability allows access, through an existing home network, to your library of JPEG and MP3 files, using only the TV's remote control, even through a connected home theater. Enjoy dual HDMI inputs and even a PC input to use the 56HMX96 as a computer monitor. Check out the 56HMX96; you'll want to integrate this marvel of technology into your life.
All of the technology contained within the 56HMX96 wouldn't be all that exciting if it were difficult to take advantage of it. It's a good thing that Toshiba remembered to make this DLP projection TV easy to use. You can select from a variety of picture modes to get the best viewing including Standard, Sports, Movie, and Preference. A POP double-window lets you watch two programs at the same time, and you can choose from different aspect ratio formats (Standard, Full, Theater Wide 1, 2, and 3) to get the most out of 480i, 480p, 720p, or 1080i signals. You also get previous channel return, trilingual on-screen displays (English, Spanish, French), and V-Chip for parental control of channel and programming blocking where TV programs incorporate the rating code signal. The most advanced DLP chip, digital fine pitch screen, purely digital connection between the signal source and the display, and easy to operate--this 56HMX96 has it all!

White Glove service is used for the delivery of high-end consumer products. The benefit of this service is that your merchandise is brought into your home, put into the room of your choice (within one floor up or down from the entrance), uncrated, plugged-in to ensure working order, and the packaging material is removed from your home. Should your residence be located in an extremely remote location, there may be an additional charge for delivery. Also note, White Glove delivery can require a couple extra business days vs. Front Door or Local Area Pick Up.
