This set's REGZA Premium LCD Hi-Speed Cinespeed panel offers a response time that is among the best in the industry (8ms or less), giving you the response for the most demanding home theater enthusiast. Using 12-bit picture processing (up to 14-bit internally), the 47LZ196's Hi-Speed PixelPure digital video processing can create 4096 steps of gradation (steps between the whitest white and the blackest black), and also incorporates improvements in areas such as: real speed progressive scanning, video noise reduction, sharpness, and gamma control to set a new standard for picture quality. A true 1080p television, the 47LZ196 has a panel resolution of 1920 x 1080.
Through its connections and tuners, the 47LZ196 allows you to enjoy a very wide variety of audio/video material. ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuners with CableCARD allow for the tuning of off-air and unscrambled HD cable channels for increased flexibility. Dual HDMI (high definition multimedia interface) inputs pass both uncompressed digital video and audio through one convenient cable for connections to today's best home theater components. A PC input (15 pin D-Sub) lets you use the 47LZ196 as a computer monitor. THINC RJ-45 network capability allows access, through an existing home network, to a library of JPEG and MP3 files using only the TV's remote control, even through a connected home theater. The THINC mail feature allows you to check your email throiugh the 47LZ196 using the RJ45 connection. In addition to these exciting connections, the 47LZ196 also features 2 ColorStream HD component video inputs, an S-Video input, 2 RF inputs, 2 A/V inputs, an optical digital audio output, G-Link and I/R pass-through. That should have you pretty well covered as far as connections go.The 47LZ196's SoundStrip speaker design is a thin line speaker system with enhanced dynamic range which yields big speaker sound. The two-way speaker system puts out 20 watts of audio power. SRS WOW sound (3D, TruBass, FOCUS) greatly improves audio performance with improved fidelity and a wider sweet spot for the listener. To make the most of today's demanding digital soundtracks, Toshiba incorporated Virtual Dolby to maximize the sound of the SoundStrip speaker system. Local Area Pick Up is the lowest cost option for the shipment of a TV. We ship the TV from one of our warehouse locations to one managed by our freight partner in an area near you. When it arrives, you are contacted via telephone to alert you to its arrival. You may then pick it up during their regular business hours and bring it home. FOR MINNESOTA CUSTOMERS: you may pick up at our Edina facility with no shipping or handling charges. Simply select the "local area pick up" option when checking out. We'll credit you in full for all shipping/handling charges when you arrive at our facility.

Method 2:
Front Door Delivery option places your new TV just outside the main entrance of your home or, if preferable, at your garage door. Front Door Delivery is performed on a “by appointment” basis to ensure a convenient time for you to accept the shipment. Front Door delivery is ideal for light-weight sets such as LCD, DLP or Plasma TVs. Time in transit is typically 3-5 business days.

Method 3:
White Glove service is used for the delivery of high-end consumer products. The benefit of this service is that your merchandise is brought into your home, put into the room of your choice (within one floor up or down from the entrance), uncrated, plugged-in to ensure working order, and the packaging material is removed from your home. Should your residence be located in an extremely remote location, there may be an additional charge for delivery. Also note, White Glove delivery can require a couple extra business days vs. Front Door or Local Area Pick Up.
