The 47HL167 is fitted with Toshiba's REGZA Premium LCD CineSpeed Panel. This panel offers response times that are among the best in the industry (8 ms or less), giving you plenty of power for even the most demanding home theater enthusiast. The 47HL167 also incorporates PixelPure 3rd Generation Digital Video Processing. Using 333 MHz 14-bit picture processing, PixelPure 3G can create 4096 steps of gradation (between the whitest white and blackest black) for a smooth, natural-looking picture without image banding. DynaLight Dynamic Backlight Control monitors the brightness level of each video frame, and automatically adjusts the backlight intensity based on the image content. Precise signal analysis affords 256 levels of backlight intensity. This creates dynamic contrast up to 5 times that of the original panel contrast, resulting in a deeper black level that increases detail and depth, even in low light environments. And to get TV signals to this extraordinary LCD panel, there's a built-in NTSC/ATSC/QAM digital tuner to capture over-the-air and cable standard and high definition broadcasts as well as unencrypted digital cable programming.

Local Area Pick Up is the lowest cost option for the shipment of a TV. We ship the TV from one of our warehouse locations to one managed by our freight partner in an area near you. When it arrives, you are contacted via telephone to alert you to its arrival. You may then pick it up during their regular business hours and bring it home. Minnesota customers may pick up at our Edina facility with no shipping or handling charges.

Method 2:
Front Door Delivery option places your new TV just outside the main entrance of your home or, if preferable, at your garage door. Front Door Delivery is performed on a “by appointment” basis to ensure a convenient time for you to accept the shipment. Front Door delivery is ideal for light-weight sets such as LCD, DLP or Plasma TVs. Time in transit is typically 3-5 business days.

Method 3:
White Glove service is used for the delivery of high-end consumer products. The benefit of this service is that your merchandise is brought into your home, put into the room of your choice (within one floor up or down from the entrance), uncrated, plugged-in to ensure working order, and the packaging material is removed from your home. Should your residence be located in an extremely remote location, there may be an additional charge for delivery. Also note, White Glove delivery can require a couple extra business days vs. Front Door or Local Area Pick Up.
